The phone loses signals in mall and supermarket , i will get signals and lose it while I am moving in the same place .
I bought this phone on ebay and my carrier is ROGERS WIRELESS IN CANADA.
I did take it to them but they can not help since I bought this phone on ebay.
One of the store which sells phone said it had to do something with the flash drive
Are the mall and supermarket in the same area? You may just be where there isn't a nearby cell tower. Some carriers have a procedure to update for new towers, etc. once a month by dialing a number-for instance, I dial *228 for that. Check with your carrier.

How many devices are connected to the wireless? Are you moving about when you lose the signal? Is the wireless Secured? If you have other computers/laptops connected do they lose signal? Many thing will cause loss of a signal, much like a cell phone.
I faced the same problem with my Samsung Ace S5830 that it keeps losing the network signal. I formatted the phone and still the same problem. I took the phone to the Samsung store and they opened the phone and cleaned it with some solution and i tried to use the phone for sometime and still the same. I was very frustrated with and unhappy with my phone as it is not even a month and it kept on losing the signal and sometimes would restart and would lose the battery charge. I tried doing this step( Settings>Wireless and Networks>Mobile Networks>Network Mode>Select either GSM or CDMA(Depends on the provider) By default, it would be selected as GSM/WCDMA(Auto Mode) From Network Operators select the desired network and then restart the phone. Is it close to a microwave, or a cordless phone?
Does it only lose signal when the phone rings, or you are using the microwave?
Try moving it further away from either of these, and change your phones channel.

I've seen this on a router that was broadcasting very little signal. (in my case the next day it died. When the laptop is running move away from your router and try to determine where it loses signal strength. A router is good from the factory for about 200 feet with no obstructions. In most homes I give them 30 to 40 feet. Be aware that windows and glass doors nowdays use a metal mylar film between the glass to reduce infrared rays. If you lose the signal very soon then I'd say the router is dying.
i put a phone unblocker chip and the displayed in the sim one space on the screen emergency and now it doesnt function properly it reads the sim and shows the name of the carrier but then it loses the signal it says searching... then it reads it again and then loses it. when im using the menu or another function on the phone the touch screen turns off and then back on when i lose the signal and i have to start again with what ever i was doing. how can i fix this? please help.
