Sony has posted the intructions at http://www.iq.sony.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=77,E=0000000000714635791,K=6871,Sxi=1,Case=obj(411462),VARSET_OBJ=411462,VARSET_TSRC=results,UseTemplate=case.tem,VARSET_TOP=TRUE The steps aren't very intuitive and they are not in the cocumentation that came with my unit.

I only can record one hour with my recorder and not more while i installed a memory sick either why ??? why i cant record more ? it always warn me withe the lake of memory

I think that you have to select to record on the additional memory card.
Ihave anOlympus VP670 that has 8gb of ram and has 5 folders. I can choose to record to any of them. I added a 32gb sd card but 5 more folders have appeared seperate from the others. In order to record in those folders I have to select the option on my menu screen. Your machine is probably similar. Check the documentation that came with it

Syncing Sony ICD-MX20 with Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 on Vista

the workaround seems to be

buy an Olympus recorder (supposedly they issued a patch for DNS 10 in a couple of days)

or

tell DNS that the source is a PDA generating WAV, MP3, etc.

havn't tried this myself yet. some say it it isn't that awful. But I too am very dissappointed.

I need to know how to use the memory stick feature on a Sony digital recorder.

Here is the URL for the manual for your recorder =>

http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-documents.pl?mdl=ICDMX20&LOC=3

Essentially you just plug in the Memory Stick, wait for the display to stop showing "ACCESS". Make sure you do not insert the stick when you are either recording or playing a message. There is a chart that shows you how many messages you can record using the different speeds.

Sony ICD-UX70/UX80 digital recorder...memory full problem

If you press and hold down the "menu" button scroll down to the FORMAT selection and press enter. This will reformat the device.
I had the same problem - I think it arose after disconnecting the IC Recorder when it became unresponsive with the computer.
Make sure you transfer all your files first to a computer or back up source.
