Ok, clicking repair is a stupid setting that windows puts in as when you click it it immediately returnsyour pc's ip address to a windows default ip address which you router cannot read and therefore disconnects you. Go to your network adapter properties, right click on task bar icon on go to network connections and right click>properties TCP/IP line and click properties again then select if not already 'obtain ip address automatically', then ok it and close windows. If you are connecting through a router you need to get into the set up menu of ypur router by typing the router ip adress in your web browser(refer to manual for the address)and look for the conections menu and ensure your password and username is correct and make sure DHCP is enabled so as to give your pc an automatic ip address
