Question about Bosch Nexxt Premium WFMC6400UC Front Load Washer
My machine won't drain and I want to open the front access panel to see if anything is blocking it, but i don't want to force it for fear of breaking it. Anyone please help!
The round access panel turns about 5 degrees then it pulls off. If you try to pop it off you will break it. Once it's removed there is a twist on cover to gain access to the pump guts to look for crud. Unscrew the cover (put a pan under it because water will come out) and look around for anything that doesn't belong there. When you reassemble it, there is a piece on the cover that has arrows on it pointing down. Put that on the bottom and screw the cover back on.
My guess is that if your washer is full of water, it will all drain out when you disassemble the pump guts.

Usually on nexxt machines the panel just pulls off, directly away from the machine. Here is the link to the user manual if you need it, however it doesn't go into any detail on the front access panel; http://www.bshextranet.com/files/techtoolbox/WFMC6400uc.pdf If you want to be absolutely sure before doing anything then the best way would be to drop an e-mail to Bosch; http://www.boschappliances.com/contact.cfm?menu_id=11 Their service is second to none and I am sure they can answer any questions you have. Hope this helps :)

Tips for a great answer:

Welcome to FixYa
E13 error in
your Bosch WFMC washer is a drain error and is displayed when the drain time
exceeds & the washer is unable to drain so the door won't open sometimes
when this error is displayed. You will have to clean the drain trap in the
bottom right hand corner. You can stick a straighten paper clip in the access
panel located inside the front bottom panel through the whole and then turn the access
panel counter clockwise to unscrew the plastic drain cap behind it. After
everything is cleaned and the error returns then replacing the drain pump is
recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
