My F717 workt proparly, untill some days ago when the camera started recording some strange deformed blue lines on the pictures ... and after that about 1/5th of the recording turned black (the upper part of the picture) the picture right under the black part shows also some deformities and there a small coloured line ranging from red to blue between the black and the picture. when you use the camera in photo - mode you can't really see on the display something special, but if you look closely you can see a small difference in the image upper part and the normal working part ... it's only if you take the picture (press the shutter) that the black turns in. i also noticed that when i zoom in the black upper part gets smaller ... when i completely zoom in (with digital zoom) the black has disappeared and you can only see some slight deforming in the upper part of the picture ... please help me if you know a solution to this problem because i really would like taking pictures with it again ... it's such a great camera best regards simon
This seems to be a CCD problem or associated circuits. Sony Support Team should know about this - may mean a camera callback or swap from Sony.
