Make sure the knob for the platen (roller) is tight. Hold the roller and turn the knob to tighten.

Returning to a previous typed line

That is a problem with this machine. The platen doesn't have a detent so there are no positive stops. The trick is to note where the typed line lines up with the line on the card holder. With a little practice you will be able to go back to a previous line fairly accurately. Use the idex or code+rev button to make the paper go up and down. Also it's a good idea to check for corrections before hitting the return button.

I have a Brother GX-6750 correctrone that won't

If you can roll it in by hand but ie won't advance you most likely have a cracked gear on the index motor. If the pa[er won't go in at all you may have a lable stuck. Try feeding and pushing thin piece of card board thru/

WHEN I TYPE SOME THING AND HIT THE SPACE BAR THE RETURN BAR IT TYPE ON THE SAME LINE AND EVERY THING IS IN ONE .

If the paper will move up with the platen knob the paper feed motor probably has a broken plastic gear. The gear and motor are sold as one 35.00.
