When i clicked on crystal eye icon then a massege displays "camera not found" some times it starts working and some time shows this massege.
Can you reinstall camera drivers
are you just trying to open it when message appears or are you on a messenger
if reinstalling has'nt helped then you need to set cam up for msn
After you start Windows Live Messenger,
expand the view by clicking on the square
on top left next to the red X.
Then on the Windows Live messenger window on the
right side, click on “ “Show Menus.” And then click
on “Show the Menu Bar”.
Next go to the Menu Bar on right side, click on Action.
Go to “TOOLS” and click “Audio and Video Setting
and follow the instructions.

I have the same problem but i have no idea to Fix it can anyone help us?
Click the drop-down menu on the toolbar to change the resolution. Click the gear icon to change the settings.
Click the camera icon to capture a photo. To turn off the Acer webcam, click the "X" button on the top of the window.
Access Camera Assistant Software:
a. On the taskbar double-click the Camera Assistant Software icon , or from the Windows® Start menu, point to All Programs, Camera Assistant Software, and then click Camera Assistant Software. The Camera Assistant Toolbar location briefly displays on the desktop.
b. On the Camera Assistant Toolbar, click the Start Camera button and click on the icons on the software.
If the the above steps are not working, then follow the below steps:
You can reinstall the WebCam drivers from the Acer recovery management, to do so:
Start Menu> All Programs> Acer erecovery management> Restore> Restore Application & Drivers> Contents> Select Acer Crystal Eye and install it

Got to http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/
Select the computer model
Select Operating System
Click Drivers
Select Camera (Crystal Eye) and download it.
Once downloaded install it on your computer.
If still facing the issue, then you may need to perform full system recovery, to do so please follow the steps mentioned below
You can restore the computer back to factory default,to do so, follow the below steps: Turn OFF the computer, now as soon as you hit the power button, keep on holding "Alt" key
& keep on tapping "F10" key, i.e Alt+f10, it will open the recovery console, select full factory restore and follow onscreen instruction.
NOTE: This will erase all the datas on the computer.

I have the same problem with my Acer 5920. The camera usually doesn't turn on! Wts the whole point of having an inbuilt camera if it doesnt come on??!!!!
