I was able to use my Motorola V6 for only 8 months. There is a problem with its program that causes all key pads not to function except on/off button. I thought at first that the key pads only need cleaning but it isn't because every time I switch off the phone for one hour and turn it back on everything will work fine for a few minutes and then the problem comes back again. Can anybody tell me how to fix this problem?
My phone's dead.
i've had it for about 7 months nothing has gone wrong until now.
A reminder went off in the middle of the night and i set it to "all reminders off" but when i tried to turn it on in the morning nothing happened i thought it was flat so i plugged it into to charger nothing happened. i've tried everything. The sim, battery and memory card all work in my mums V6. so it must be the phone.
does anyone know how to reset it???

Hai, You can reset your phone, erase all data and content, by performing a master reset. Here's a link to the instructions:- 1.Go to the "settings" option from your Mobile menu. 2.From there select "Initial Setup" 3.And extreme below you will find out Master Reset and Master Clear. 4.Click on what's appropriate. 5.DONE! Hope this Helped
Depending on how many modifications, hacks, or customizations that you perform on your Motorola RAZR V3 phone, there may be situations where the phone becomes unusable or completely locks up. I have had visitors to the site report not being able to delete ring tones, text messages, or have other strange behaviors with their Motorola RAZR V3 phone.
If this is you situation, then you may be interested in performing a master reset (or “hard reset”) on your phone. The master reset will effectively restore your phone back to the factory condition, inclusive of all settings. Be warned, any data that you have not backed up, photos you have not transferred, calendar settings, or messages you have not saved will be lost! Make sure you do this first, if possible!
Here is how you perform a Master Reset on the Motorola RAZR V3: 1. Open your phone up and go to “Settings” 2. Next go to the selection for “Initial Setup” 3. Next go to the selection for “Master Clear” 4. Then select to confirm the option. 5. Now enter the security code which should be “000000” 6. Finally press select or ok and the phone will reset itself to the factory condition
Congratulation you have performed a “hard reset”, “hard reboot”, or “master reset” on your Motorola V3 RAZR and it should return to normal operating mode!
