My unit turned a year old last march. I had no problem with it until recently. First, the phone would just reset in the middle of a call. After a few days, the battery was drained zero. When I tried to charge it, it won't charge. I tried to replace the battery twice but both batteries just don't get fully charged even after being plugged for more than 3 hours. It can be switched on at times but that's all about it.

It's under warranty. Take it to your service provider and have it replaced free of charge.

Hi, My Jitterbug flip phone will not charge up.

Do you know anyone with a similar Jitterbug?

It would help tremendously if you would try charging your battery in someone else's charger.
If the battery charges then your charger is the problem and not the battery. Useful to know.

I am assuming you have wiped all the contacts with alcohol or contact cleaner, to remove any thin film that might be interfering with electric conduction.

Quite often that persistently blinking charge light indicates a battery that has reached the end of its useful life.

If you buy a new battery be certain to charge it at least 14 hours before you ever put it into the phone.

I repair a lot of digital cameras, watches, cell phones, etc. And contacts that need cleaning or degreasing are quite common.]

My device is three months old. The charger is giving current as I am able to use it while plugged in, but will not charge at all. The device works beautifully in every other way accept for the charging...

Seems like internal battery charge controller has got fault or internal battery is not accepting charge. If it is under warranty then take it to the servicing centre.

It says that the battrie is to low and i have charged it all night and three hours today

If the cell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

W20i charged phone, took phone off charger, phone went dead and won't turn on. phone is six months old and had no problems

Hello,

As you have got this problem and cell is only 6 months old. Pls get it replaced under warranty.
Do carry the invoice with date to the service center.
Alternatively also check the charger, as sometime the cell shows charging due to inserting the pin and a low current passes through but still charger is faulty. Try using some other charger and then go ahead.

Regads,

Richee
Take some time to rate me if it works well.

A red light indicates not enough power for turn on, the battery is either completely depleted or dead. If the light does not change to amber after a few minutes of charge, the battery needs to be replaced with a new one.

Well it sounds like a combo of both. Definitly get the battery replaced again. The phone itself probably needs new software. take it your service provider's corp store to get the software updated.
