After that when i plugged it to the computer i did it before turn it on and when i removed it i did it by pressing the safe removal of hardware or did it when the computer was off. Now i have a different problem since i turn it on and i only get the dial blue light i hope someone is able to give me a tip or else this sandisk is a nightmare!!!!!!

I got a problem with my mp3

Hello,

Transfers onto the m240 can be done in 2 USB connection modes:
MTP mode: Media Transfer Protocol using software, e.g. Windows Media Player 10 or higher.
MSC mode: Mass Storage Class using Windows Explorer, looking in "My Computer" viewing the player as a removable disk.

Typically, songs put onto the player in MSC mode can not be viewed in MTP mode and the other way around.

Switching to MSC mode in the player's menu:
Look in the player under Settings Menus > USB > select MSC for using the "copy and paste" or "drag and drop" method for transfers in "My Computer".
When Auto Detect is selected, it depends on the configuration of the computer, what setup for priority has been installed.

Forcing the player into MSC mode:
1. Turn device OFF.
2. Facing the hold switch slide it to the right so an orange color would show putting the device on Hold.
3. Connect the device to the PC.

Information for the USB connection mode and how to make hidden files in XP and Vista visible, on the support site:

Cant get songs to appear on player

Songs that are in the correct format will show up in the music menu when you disconnect the mp3 player from the computer. Songs that are in the wrong format will not show up at all when disconnected from the computer.

Open Windows Media Player and click on the icon of the Sansa to view what the songs that have been loaded onto there.

Cant get songs onto my Sansa e280 player =[

"Refresh database" is a normal message that you will get everytime you unplug the Sansa from the computer - don't worry about that aspect.

If the songs that you have transferred have DRM encryption on them, they may not play right (or at all) on the Sansa.

If you have Windows Media Player 11, I would get the firmware update from the Sansa website AND format the Sansa inside Windows Media Player:
for the firmware,
for the format, http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx
Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything and get your player functioning normally.

Cant load songs

the best way for that is to read your manual.

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Windows XP SP1
Windows Media Player 10
Intel Pentium class PC or higher
CD-ROM drive
USB 2.0 port required for hi-speed transfer
CONNECTING AND TRANSFERRING
Connect to your Computer
1. Connect the small USB Cable Connector to the USB port on your computer, and then plug the larger
Cable Dock Connector in to your Sansa c200 port.
2. Once connected to computer, it should be detected by the operating system automatically and is
shown as an additional drive called “Sansa c200”.
SANSA MEDIA CONVERTER
You will need to use Sansa Media Converter to transfer photos to your Sansa c200. Insert your SanDisk
CD and select Sansa Media Converter to install it to your PC. Then you can load your personal photos
onto your Sansa c200 by using Sansa Media Converter.

TRANSFER MUSIC
To transfer music to your Sansa c200:
1. Connect Sansa c200 to the computer.
2. Drag and drop files from your computer to Sansa c200 by using a variety of music software
programs to transfer/synchronize your files.
3. In MTP mode as long as the files are WMA or MP3, they can be dragged into the Media folder.
Otherwise, they can be dragged into the Data folder (these files will not appear on the player).
4. In MSC mode, files/folders can be dragged/copied to the device.

Sansa e200 wont load music

Check if the player is in Autodetect/MTP then try retransferring the songs on the player. And before unplugging the player from the computer check if the files are transferred to the player click on the sansa e200 player on the left window to check if it had really transfferred the songs to the player. If it still wont work, try trasnferring songs using windows media player.
