Question about Hotpoint RGA520 Gas Kitchen Range
Hi, I just moved to this apartment and I´m trying to lite the oven (which belongs to the apartment owner). I turn the dial to 350 and nothing happens. I used the stove and it works fine, I have fire in all the four of them. Thanks a lot for your attention, Best regards, Ariosto
This happened with my self cleaning gas range. The burners worked fine. I checked for a leak. Turns out the igniter needed to be replaced. The landlady had a warranty from Circuit City so the repairman replaced the part. Sounds like you may me in the same boat. I sure was happy to have my oven back! : )

Might be a electric start oven check to see if it needs to be plugged.
If the ignition sparker or the relay is fried( shorted) out there not to difficult to replace..
But seeing that you rent I would get the manger of the apartment to do it.
