Turned the phone and it went directly to browser, hit cancel and yes to exit, tried to make a call-will not let me push any other buttons. Locked into web browser.

do a master reset press the menu button go down the left hit the middle buton then go down 5 select...then go up twice select the put in ur security code if u havent changed it it is 000000 hit the top right buttton twice and jus wait for a minute it should work and dont worry nothing wi be erased
Have you tried switching the phone off and on? Or taking the battery out? (Try leaving the battery out for half hour or over night even) I don't know as I've never had this problem.
I have had this problem on my V3 also, turns out that the flex cable tends to get cold solder joints, find someone at one of your local mom and pop cell phone stores. Can usually find parts on ebay. Am not sure exactly which cable it is, had local tech that discovered he could solder the connections on the cable.

ok did you change sim cards lately? How old is your phone? did you get it wet at anytime? If you dont get it fixed soon call cingular and they should be able to help you......
