Question about Cell Phones
Unit was not dropped, dunked or any other trauma. Was plugged in for about 4 hours while on. When I went back to get the unit it was off. When I tried to start up the phone I got the error " Bootloader 30.04 Battery Low Cannot Program " on an otherwise blank screen. After a minute or so the unit went blank again. When I push the 'on' button on the top I get a very quick 'yellow' flash and then a constant 'green light'.
Did you try pluging into charger, my galaxy 2 if i run battery all the way down it wont do anything after it shuts down. at times i have had to plug in and wait sometimes 15-20 min before it will even flicker. hope it helps

This is an internal software error. If your phone is less than 1 year old you can get it replaced at no charge from your provider. If it is over 1 year old you would need to use your insurance if you have that option. Point is, t he phone will need to be replaced.

SOURCE: Screen went blank
There is something you can try. Using a Torx 6 driver, remove the two screws located beneath the battery. Gently pry the plastic cover loose. There will be a flex cable connecting it to the other portion of the phone. Gently disconnect it. Using 99.5% isopropyl alcohol and a soft bristled brush clean the connectors on both the cable and the circuit board. Reseat the connector and reassemble the phone. If this does not work the flex cable or LCD may need to be replaced.

SOURCE: I have a Motorola RAZR
Despite this comment comming late - Razr's have had issues since their release. In particular, the CDMA Razr's have had serious issues (V3c, V3a, V3m). Your V3m has a serious flaw in the software which actually caused them to discontinue it. If you put the microSD cards that it accepts into them & put too much music on the card for the phone (how much isn't disclosed), the phone can become unstable & even unoperable. As far as the quantity goes, I put 5 songs on my 1GB microSD after the card was formatted by the phone & the thing immediately white-screened. Its a common issue with them. Since this is a flaw in the phone itself, you should be able to b*tch about the phone to the phone company & have it replaced with a different model. Keep in mind, there is a circular sticker on the back that detects water damage. It will turn red if water touches it (humidity, or if you clean your phone with an alcohol wipe like I do). You might want to consider swapping that our with a clean one or just tell them you wiped the back with an alcohol wipe. Either way, hope this helps you or other people.

SOURCE: Black screen Sony Ericsson K850i
I just had the same problem. I tried everything including resetting the whole phone upgrading the software etc etc.
I was convinced it was a softare problem, but my screen only went black when i press the buttons on one side of the keywpad so i started thinking it may simply be hardware related.
I tried taking off the case but didnt have the screw drivers to do this.
Eventually in a fit of rage I threw my phone on the floor (Carpetted floor) and too my surprise the problem got better! I basically gave my phone a few more whacks and it started to work fine again.
I am not suggsting you start whacking your phone, but i imagine if you took off the case and re-fitted it this would work.
