Only long beep tones with a few seconds pauses

depending on the beeps, you are looking at usually memory or video card error. first step is to remove the memory from the system and place only one stick in at a time. if the unit only has one stick then you need to get a known workign stick to test with. if the known working stick works or only one of the other sticks work then check each of the slots indvidually. if you find that the unit does not boot with the memory in a specific slot, then you have a bad motherboard. if the unit boots in every slot with the good memory, then you have a bad stick. If the pc boots after pulling and reseating the memory, you got one of the rare issues of a memory stick lossening up. If nothing boots it, then you need to move on to either the video card or motherboard.

Without the exact beeps and length of each beep i could not give you more than a generalized answer.

Can the memory card reader in the HP C5150 printer read a sdhc memory card?

Hi,

Your printer only supports the following:
Memory Stick, Magic Gate Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo
(with user-supplied adapter), Memory Stick Pro, xD-Picture Card, Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard (MMC), Secure MultiMedia Card, CompactFlash (I, II).

But, you can use your SDHC memory if you purchase an adapter for it or a card reader so you can connect it to the computer and print whatever you need to print.

Turn on computer, hear beep beep beep. then monitor does not come on, says no signal. looking at black screen only

3 beeps is usually a memory error. In fact, it means there is a failure within the first 64KB of system memory. You can usually find out if one of your ram sticks is bad by taking a stick out and turning the PC back on. If it boots, you found the bad ram. If not, replace and try again.
Once you can ever get it to boot, you can go to memtest (http://www.memtest.org/) and download the auto installer for USB key and boot from USB (usually by pressing f12 or del, depending on your bios...it will say on boot up). This will tell you if you have any further ram issues.
If this doesn't resolve your issue, the other option 3 beeps can mean is a bad motherboard or other system device (worse case scenario, and fairly rare).
Hope this helps...

I HAVE 2004 SILVER PSP CFW 5.50. HOW DO I PLAY DOWNLOADED GAMES ON IT. WHAT SOFTWARE TO INSTALL AND HOW?

Hi. First, you have to format your memory card so that the required folders will be automatically created.

On your PSP, go to Settings>>System Settings>>Format Memory Stick. Select YES when asked if you really want to format your memory stick. Wait for a few seconds & once prompted that it's done, you can now grab your USB cable and plug your PSP to a computer.

Go to Settings>>USB Connection. Your computer will detect the memory stick as an external drive. Once connected, navigate to your PSP's memory card directory via Windows Explorer. You should see an "ISO" folder. Open this and copy your downloaded games here (.iso or .cso file).

Safely remove the USB connection once done. Navigate to your "Games" on the PSP and the copied game will appear.

Hope this helps.

Trying to log on to Dimension 2400, but won't come on power is going thru. AB light in back is yellow

Okay, That helps,
What did you do to the computer *prior* to this issue?
You need to look at a few things. Remove all memory sticks except one.
Try to boot. If it does work, then you have a bad memory stick.
Add another stick and so on.
if you have a Video card in a slot, remove card and relocate to another slot (IF RAM does not fix).
Make sure CPU is fully seated as well.
Can you boot to safe mode using F8 ?
lets get the first 2 things done first tho.
Thanks for the fast reply!!!

Won't run

Hi,
you have,nt seated the memory module back correctly.
push module in at an angle, usually about 45 degrees.
while pushing it back in, apply pressure, to push down towards the motherboard. ** check for any specs of Dust**
also check that you have,nt knocked the hard-drive ribbon cable in the process of cleaning.

Need help think i may need a motherboard

If the the laptop is failing to boot very early in the4 boot sequence, then this usually points to a failure somewhere on the motherboard. There are a few test you can run to try. 1) Try downloading the following Diagnostic program and running it on your computer. The download makes a bootable CD, and you can try running a bunch of diagnostics on your computer with out having to boot into Windows. You can test memory, the hard drive, and other things. http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ 2) Try replacing the memory. Sometimes bad memory can cause a device not to boot. 3) If neither of the above suggestions work, then I'm afraid you will need a new motherboard.
