When using Microsoft word for Macintosh, in either OS 9 or OSx I have a consistent printing problem on my Lexmark E 232 printer when printing documents in legal size paper. I choose Legal (8.5 x 14) in the PAGE SET-UP, but no matter what I do the printer interprets the document as being 8.5 x 11 and cuts off the top of the document. I have tried the same document on other printers and it works fine. I have tried other legal size MS Word documents and it does it to those documents as well. What do you think. Time for a new printer?
Lexmark is famous for making the selections obvious but hiding the "save settings" pull down. It is at the top of the box and allows you to save current setting. Also verify the setting by viewing print layout.

Software issue for the printer. Uninstall driver and reinstall. If this does not solve it, it may be time for a new printer. Lexmark printers do not have a long service life.
