Built in webcam missing

Hi this is the link to the MSI Website Wind U100 Download Page, on here you should be able to download all the drivers including the Webcam.

the application software needed for launching the webcam might be missing. check your webcam manufacturer's website and download the appropriate application software

think you need to reinstall driver for that camera to get icon again

I believe holding down the Fn button (on the bottom left of the keyboard) and F6 turns the webcam off and on. If it is off, it won't be seen by windows at all. Just hit Fn and F6 at the same time and you should be all set. The F6 key even has a small picture of what should be a webcam.

You should be able to start the device with a default windows driver. Open windows explorer. Look at the left FOLDER pane. Under My Computer you should see USB Video device. Select it to start the webcam with default drivers. This confirms the device as working. Now, loading the correct drivers will give proper resolutions and other device-specific features of the device.

what do mean missing is it not finding it when the computer is turned on. need more info

please chek ur webcam status..that on or off. if off press fn + f6.

Try to press FN key together with F6 to makes the webcam works
