No software i have just bought this DS6618 camera at a yard sale and i didnt get the disk for the software with it...i dont want to have to pay alot for it so if anyone can tell me how i can get it free that would help out alot....plz send help

I have the DS6618 and no software. I have Windows Vista. It recognizes the camera, however it says that it needs the software. I don't have XP.

If you have Windows XP- you do not need a disk Simply plug it in and if the camera is working XP will recigunise it as a new drive in 'MyComputer'

I lost my software for my camera. Is there some way I can just download the software?

your best chance at free software is probably download.com, but I'm not sure if they'll have it.
Best chance, contact company's customer service and ask them to zip it to you
2nd best...take your laptop to Walmart, get friendly with the nice sales associate, and tell him/her your problem...open up a box, run the disk, and put it back--you're good to go.

If it is not a dinosaur model, then every camera maker has free software downloads at their home web site. Try doing a search for sd6618 camera driver download.
