Look all I asked for the ouput on the power, I want to know is it 6,9,12,or18. What do I get from the solution, an advertisement saying that for this much money we might be able to tell you. NO THANKS!!!, that is no solution.Look all I asked for the ouput on the power, I want to know is it 6,9,12,or18. The power adaptor has normally two voltages.
One is primary (Input) which is 110V AC in USA. 220V in UK and others. There are now a days Adaptors which accept both 220V and 110V. However the Adaptor pin will differ. It will be Flat pins for 110V and Round pins for 220V.
The other voltage is the Output which is fed to the Equipment and is Equipment specific. It can be 18V to 5.2 Volt DC. It varies equipment to equipment.. If a wrong Adaptor with output Voltage not matching with equipment requirement is selected, it may damage the equipment. Be careful.
Check the input voltage number on the power supply. Many cameras take 110 - 240 volts. If that is the case you do not need an inverter ... if the input specifies a voltage such as 110 OR 220 then that is the voltage you must have from your inverter. If you are stepping all the way down to 12 volts then the output voltagefrom the inverter must match the input voltage for the camera. It is best to use a recepticle adapter for your power supply and make sure the power supply input and the external electrical supply match or the external supply is within the range specified on the power supply..
my scaner power adaptor is missing input :220 v -output:16v 0.9A. IF I USE adaptor input 220v output:16v 3A is there any damage happned to my scanner.plese help me
If you are attempting to connect your laptop between 110 and 220 volt power outlets, you may be able to do so already, take a look at your power cord's transformer (brick) and read the input voltage. If you only can use 110 volt AC Input Voltage should read 115VAC. If you can do both, then it should read 110-225VAC.
If your power brick supports 220, then all you will likely need is a plug adaptor, found at many electronics store. If not, you wil need to stop in at a computer store or an import store and get an international transformer, which are set up to convert many different country plugs and many common voltages.
if you are in usa, you need
1-468-809-11 POWER UNIT input ac 110 volt and output 8.5volt dc
and if you are in uk, then
1-468-811-11 POWER UNIT input ac 220 volt and output 8.5 volt dc
bye.
The adapter that works on my machub4u y Entrega Technologies has a output of +5VDC at 2.5A with the inner post being positive and the barrel being negative.
it's alway suggested that you simply use plug adaptors to change shape of plugs for overseas-do not reduce voltage since most all chargers including yours support 220 or 110
Well, as a rule for electronics: The United States and Canada use
110-volt electricity. Most countries outside North America use 220-volt
electricity. Unless your appliance is dual voltage, you need to use a
"converter" or a "transformer" to change the 220-volt electricity into
110-volt electricity in order to use a 110-volt appliance. If your
appliance is dual voltage, you can switch it to work on 220-volts,
without a transformer or converter.
HOWEVER
Desktop units have a selector switch for 110 / 220 volts., which is
done away with in the case of laptop one's which sense the input
voltage and regulate accordingly.
I think your main concern is just that you have an adapter for the plug to go into the wall outlet.
