Hp 1610 and 1018

I have an HP 1610 all in one, and an HP 1018 laser printer. When I try to print a document as a booklet, all of my fonts print much smaller. On my old laserjet 1100 everything prints fine. Any one have this issue?

The font you are prinitng with in Word or what you are using is the problem. The old Laser Jet you were using had a lower resolution and would not print in a smaller font. Check your software for the font size.

Are you printing from MS Word? What software package are you using? Each printer is different and some require software settings.

MY LASER PRINTER KEEPS PRINTING WING DINGS

You need to go into the document or driver and select a new font.

Normally, this is a driver issue because the driver will control what fonts are selected on the hardware.

Sometimes, however, the printer's default font has been changed. This will cause the same problem. Check the printer properties and make sure you have the correct font selected.

HP Color laser jet 4700n 49.3048 service error

The problem is usually caused by printing a PDF file with fonts/page size/ page formating errors which will cause the printer to display the 49.3048 error. The only way to use the printer is to POR or recycle the power and delete the print job from the server or spooling device and cancel it on the printer before the offending command is issued to the printer again. You can try updating the firmware to the latest version 46.140.5 from the HP website. MIke L.

The manual doesn't list scaleable font size as a feature. You will probably have to set your font size in the document you are making.

Try reinstalling your display drivers. you'll be surprised how dependent printers are on display drivers. Try changing the font as well.
