PRINTER PROBLEM Hi, We have here in the company 10 Panasonic Kx-P3196, some have more than 4 years of use, when the user send the invoice to the printer it begin to print but After printing the three first lines it stop the printing and the lights of the panel blink. Please help me to resolve this problem. thanks in advance

Sevearl problems for this model will give this result. Unit not cost effective to repair. Need to know more on which panel lights blink.

Tear off
First, if you have your manual, look it at for possible solution. Does this printer have a "load" or "top of form" function? There may be a "programmable" setting which will back the paper back down to the correct spot. The college where I'm employed used to have several Panasonic dot matrix printers, but almost all are now long gone.

Hi there Printer does not Print correctly from Pastel 11. I believe the problem is the Width and Height settings, but every time I create a Form(in Server Properties) from wich the printer gets the Width and Height settings, it doesnt alow me to select it under Device Properties(once the Form is saved). THe Printer is a Panasonic KX-P3196 ( Dot Matrix Printer) Please assist as best you can. Regards Dennis

Tear off issue I use my printer exclusively for printing 3" H x 5" W labels. When i need to advance the labels up to tear them off, I hit the "tear off" button and it will advance approximately 2 1/2 labels up and will throw the alignment off for the next string of labels. How can I program the printer to advance up just one label, then return back to the proper alignment for the next batch to be printed?
