Question about Hotpoint 24 in. FDW60 Free-standing Dishwasher

Selecting cycle and starting

I have a FDW60 dishwasher that when you push the on button it will only select the eco programme and even then wont start straight away. You have to turn it off again wait 5 mins then push the on button and the eco cycle starts immediatley. Its ok after that. It seems to help sometimes if you remove the filter and replace it even though its clean, although you still cant select any other programme but eco. Any one got any ideas. Thanks

I'm assuming the programs are all selected electronically...then your pc board is on its way out. In this case you would have to replace the board...most electronic boards have "service programs" which you can check functions, but I'm not familiar with Hotpoint.... Oshie
