Question about Canon MultiPASS C80 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Canon Multipass C80 can't communicate with computer - windows XP SP2. Canon doesn't have driver for this old type device.
Ok. This is going to take a little patience and a little work so bear with me. First since there is no Windows XP driver for this device you will first have to install the available Windows 2000 driver. Go to this link to do so. http://software.canon-europe.com/software/0005192.asp?model= Next, you will need to run a Windows XP update patch to make the Windows 2000 driver work with your XP machine. You can get the update patch here.. http://software.canon-europe.com/software/0006655.asp?model= Be sure to read the XP_PatchInstallation.pdf file to make sure that you do everything in the proper order. After you have completed all the required steps, you should be able to use your C80 on your XP machine. Hope this helps. Good luck.
