Tuning I have lost the manual for this tv and forgotten how to tune it in. Can you offer any advice on tuning? thanks

p.s. if you go to this link you can get a manual for practically all the other KV-32 models, some of which are probably identical especially in the tuning instructions - might take a while to look through them though;

TV has lost channel 3-1. Running auto tuning doesn't help. put TV on another feed that works doesn't help. Is there any way to reset memory and then run auto tuning? Channel 3-5 and up work fine.

Un-plug the set fir 10 minutes then run Auto tuning again, let me know.?

Hello
Enter menu, and select the [autotune or auto search] function with the help of Prog+ Prog- and Vol+ and Vol- buttons. After that function highlighted press Vol+ button once and release. The TV will tune and store automatically in its memory, all the transmitting stations at that time, and after tuned the entire band it will finish tuning and will display the first channel. You must select auto tune for this. Not manual tune or fine tune functions. A horizontal bar will run across the bottom side of the screen indicating that the tuning process is in progress, and it will reset three times to zero and will continue tuning. It is due to the auto band selection is done inside the microcomputer of the tv. No other functions will response anymore, till autotune process is completed. Ok.

I have a new Rank Arena lcd tv (53cm) but have lost the manual. I don't know how to tune it. It's self tuning but I don't know what button to press (or hold down) to get it going.

If in the menu you have auto tuning- or turbo tuning then there is no need to touch any button as it goes into suto mode to search and set on memory the channels.
All you need is to get the menu to show the interactive screen- the OSD- onscreen display- to indicate all windows to proceed accordingly.

Tuning a sony trinitron tv

Most of the sony TV's comes with an auto tuning facility and all your need is ensure that the RF inout/cable TV or antennae is plugged into before the auto tuning is activated.
The auto tuning is available inthe older models on the set and in the newer models on the remote control. Choose program menu , tuning, auto mode.
Also you can search inthe manual mode individually and preset the channels position to your convenience such as news channels together, movies together etc.

It depends what make of TV you have, basically you need to auto tune it to get the stations back. You need to select your MENU, then TUNING, then AUTO TUNE wait until it tells you completed, then STORE.

Enter setup from the front panel or remote. Go to auto tune and select it. from here your tv will select the channels available on your cable line or from off the air. Wala your tv is tuned.
