Samsung VP-D102D Camcorder

Hi, 1, can't finthis model in the list so gone for a siliar looking model. 2. I was recording and playing all fine the other day, but now when i go into record the screen shows "protection" and won't allow me to record. tried resetting but to no effect.....please help. Ta Andy Hello I too have the same problem the protection mode came on when i went to the caribbean and turned it on to record. Please Help me !!

I didn't see any red tab and the protection is still on the screen i didn't really understand what u wanted me to do.

Remove the DV tape from the camcorder and check the position of the red tab on top of the tape. Reverse the position and see if it protection goes away.

Remove the DV tape from the camcorder. Do you see a red tab on the DV tape? It is on the top of the tape?

Problem playing my camcorder disc on PC

Windows media player is not the best for playing dvds. You can get other players for free that will support the DVD format much better for you.

My samsung camcorder vp-d20 just won't swith on - its completely dead. Changed button battery, new li-ion battery and new charger. Does anybody know if theres a there a fuse somewhere ? Thanks andy

i bought a camcorder from currys model vp dc 172w back in october. i took it to las vegas to record my wedding. its recording fine but i cant finalize the disks. iam folowing the instructions from the book. on 1 disk its trying for about 30 seconds then is saying disk error. the other disks i cant even get them to start running. can you help me please.

Transfering from camcorder to VHS tape
