I got my phone about a month ago, it was uncle's and he wasn't using it anymore so he gave it to me. it worked perfectly, everything, unfortunately i have dropped it a few times and nothing had happened. today, i accidentally dropped it and the screen is just off. the keypad is on, i can receive calls and make them but i can't see my screen because it is just black, as if it was off. if there's anything I can do, please let me know. thanks, anyway.
It's very possible that your phone's flex cable is either broken or disconnected from the screen.The flex cable would have to be replaced or reconnected. The reconnection is not too bad but replacing the flex cable is a way bit tedious.I'll choose the first option to see if this works. You'll have to take this to a qualified phone repair shop. These phones are very technical to work on even for someone who knows about them.

I have exactly the same problem. Bought it in Belgium and are using it at home. Worked well but the last 8 months always the same message: cannot connect to the internet. I have tried to find an solution on the Belkin Skype knowledge base but did not found anything. Just gave it up and I am not using the phone anymore.
Mine wasn't recognising the player through the USB cable so I followed Mantraguy's instructions to reload the firmware. Make sure though that you hold down the menu key before you switch on the player. Then it shows upgrade and you can reload the firmware. Of course you will lose all the songs on the internal memory but if it isn't working anyway.
