Zen Mosaic Lx video format????

First I think the your player does not work with Vista, probably that's why its not seeing it. The installation CD is supposed to carry the required software for converting preferred songs to the player's desired formats and it also should contain the desired drivers for windows.

put the dvd in a dvd drive and open windows media player.

you should be able to choose rip and rip it to the hardrive of your computer. when that is completed connect your zen media player to the computer via usb and choose sync. find the movie and sinc it to the devise.

your player seems not to support the .wmv video format,

to watch it on pc try another video.player like KLMcodec, update the windows media-player codecs or useother freeware videoplayer software.
some programs give you the chance to change
the video formst of a film,
change the format of file from .wmv to .avi and reupload onto player

You may be looking at the library on your computer. In Centrale with the player connected, double click on the Mosaic player icon at the bottom of the list on the left of the screen. This brings up a contents list identical to that above(which is for the PC not the player)

If you have a mac computer it wont work.

try another usb cable.
na dinstall the drivers.

for the instruction check creative.com

did it come with software
do a google on your model and download the convert software
it probally has the format as cell phone videos but yours is probally easier.. you could just try a usb cable and port over to the folder where the videos and music is on,

It's an mpeg format and you need to use the software that Creative supplies to convert your video files.

ok so if it isn't working right, then hit the reset button,
and to get the stuff onit just plug it into thecomputer, then open up the my computer screen, and access the mp3 go into music.
that is where you copy and paste music.

the stuff that comes with it, are just expamples and you can follow the the same instructions ubove to delete them...
and you do know you need headphones to be plugged in to listen, speaker or not...right??

I think alot of people are having the same problem I was. We got home, opened the box, plugged it in the computer, and nothing useful happened so then we installed the mini-cd. Well the thing is windows stops looking for a driver once it searches and finds nothing, and unfortunately those of us using XP do not automatically have the drivers. So...

SOLUTION
------------------
-If you have not already installed the mini-cd, do so, or download from Creative's site in the support section(if you do you might want to grab the latest firmware update)
-Once pack has been installed the drivers have been as well, BUT as I mentioned we now have to tell windows to look for them again.
-Reconnect your Mosaic
-Right click "My Computer"
-Chose "Properties"
-Click the "Hardware" tab
-Click "Device Manager"
-A window will pop up and you will see a long list with (hopefully only) one thing under the "Other Devices" sublist. It should be something along the lines of "Creative Zen Mosaic". Right click it
-Chose "Update Drivers"
-Follow prompts agreeing to search and auto install
-Once install is done, in a moment the screen on your Mosaic will say "Docked"
-Congratulations!
If you have downloaded the updated firmware this is the time to install:
-Ensure your Mosaic is in "Docked" mode
-Execute the firmware update
-Click "Upgrade"
-Wait (it takes a moment or two)
-Updater will say it is complete
-Mosaic will reboot
-Click "Close"
-Congratulations!
