White spot on my laptop screen Hi..i got white spots on my laptop screen...almost right side...please tell me how to solve this problem...

2,the projector running off after only a few minutes,means the Inductor (Sensing element),near the Color Wheel. Use a cotton swab moistened with alcohol to wipe the Inductor.

You can use the following website to try and fix some of these pixels that are stuck on the wrong colors:

However, it may just be a defective screen. You may need to have it replaced under warranty (and this most definitely will be covered)

All that's left is the Video Cable, and LCD screen, Aberger.

Video Cable connections are tight? LCD screen side, screen Inverter, and motherboard side?

Then a continuity check with a multimeter set to OHMs, for each wire in the cable, or take to a 'Mom and Pop' computer store, and have the tech check it, or replace.

Video Cable checks out, connections check out, the LCD screen is the problem.

My money is on a bad LCD screen, JMHO.

Increase color depth for strange colors on your display.

If that doesn't work you probably have dead spots on your screen that no longer work. This means that your LCD assembly is no longer functioning and you will need to replace it.

take alook there and see if you can tell what to do.
Then I often find that is good to click on START-control panel once there click on display. There you can control your sisplaay and hopefully get rid of the white spots.

Any spots that are white are not dust on the output side of the bulb. This is a component failure. IF it was dust it would be dark spots.

The spot may be where something has pushed against the screen to fix this problem you will need to buy a new screen sheet.

check out for the convergence ic on the convergence board that ic must be faulty and it needs replacements.there are two such stk ic that both needs to be replaced as replacing 1 ic will not solve the problem.
