Door was leaking and now it shows error code H F

Could be slight hole in door boot seal / or circon pump suspect door boot seal

I just had this problem myself. I found calcium buidup on the seal and lip on door where it goes against seal. I took CLR, I think it stands for calcium lime and rust remover and clean it all up. First load seemed fine, although as I was cleaning it I noticed that the seal has shrunk away from the bottom of the machine. So if it leaks now I will be replacing the seal. I might add that a couple of years ago my daughter had the same problem, cleaned the seal, had food particles on it. It didn't leak after that. Please rate my answer so I am rewarded points for it.

Carefully check the door seal for any sign of a hole or tear in the seal.
Or it could be leaking from the drum front or the drum front seal, this is another seal , not the door seal., you cannot see this without removing the front panel.

My 2001 passat did the same thing. my leak was coming from the door panel. Open your door and use a water hose to simulate rain water running against your window. Water should run into door and drain out of several drain holes at the very bottom of your door. Check for water leaking from the bottom of your plastic door panel. The water runs down into the door and leaks through your inner door panel seal causing water to leak inside from the bottom of your door panel and run into the floorboard instead of draining out the water hole in the bottom of your door.

Is the door seal dirty?
A dirty door seal can cause a leak. Remove and clean any dirt or deposits around the inner door seal with a damp cloth. The door glass seals against the rubber seal; dirt or deposits can prevent a proper seal and cause leaks.

what sort of soap powder do you use
some soap powders foam a lot in machine causing dishwasher to leak through seals
also check that the machine is square that is the door is closing parallel with cabinet
do not use power balls in machine just standard dishwasher detergent and separate rinse aid
