V3 sounds horrible and catches interference!

I hear interference over the phone... bad sound quality do you think this has to do with the flex of the speaker?

Is it possible to watch Toshiba picture frame television with external speakers disconnected from back of television

A filter couldn't hurt. I would also suggest checking the grounding strap. I have also come across neighbors who have installed linear amplifiers on their CB radios which overdrive the signal and cause interference with those around them. Now could these antenna be an amateur radio, or HAM radio, setup? If so, they have different restriction but they aren't supposed to cause local interference either. You can contact the FCC to pursue that further.

Great pictures, by the way. Depending on the age if your set, your setup menu for audio may allow you to change the speaker set up to allow you to disconnect each set of speakers & experiment with the sound quality. You may want to disconnect each pair of wire and blow out any dust/dirt with some compressed air as well as checking for any loose strands of copper wire creating an unintentional ground or short while reinserting the wire back into the connector jack. If that doesn't help, you may want to check the wires going into each speaker and check for dust inside the speaker boxes. You would be amazed at how dust can get into things. Remember, dust has moisture, making it a conductor of electricity. Not much is needed to create interference.

Static coming from speakers

Not much information here but I will try my best, could be a problem with the cable your using between the speakers and the mp3 player, you could have a dry joint, if it's like a "hum" sound your getting it's a bad ground, without the mp3 playing plugged in tap the end of the stereo minijack cable with the speakers turned up? hear the 50hz buzz - if the interference sounds the same it's most likely a bad cable or bad connector on the speakers. I would need to either hear the interference to determine what fault it is or if you can describe it better i.e. what it sounds like.

Im not getting music out of my front speakers

Hi, when your not getting sound out of the front speaker,is because the speaker inside the phone is damaged and will need to be replaced with another one.

Problem like speaker problems are caused by Flex being bad(if it's a sliding phone), when a phone drops on the floor, or when the life span of the speaker has finished it will go off by it self.

Note: If it is a sliding phone that uses flex inside of it, you will need to replace the flex because the flex controls the speaker inside the phone.

So instead of replacing the speaker, you will need to replace the flex inside the phone.

The flex is a thread like object that is connected to the board of the phone and the screen of the phone. And also controls the function of the speaker inside the phone.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for using fixya....

Samsung SGH J-750 has no sound, no ringtones etc when the slide is flipped on, but when it is closed, you can't hear any sound. Is there any settings to activate its speaker again when the slide is open?

Hi,the bitter truth is that there is no settings that activates the speaker of the phone when slide open or closed, the problem is from the flex connector cable which is associated with the sliding of the phone, the flex cable needs to be replaced,However you have to disassemble your phone to get the flex cable.
You can get a well detailed description of how to disassemble your phone and how much the flex cable costs at;
Thanks and take care

Crackling and popping sounds in surround sound speakers

Could be your head unit or the connection to the speaker may be bad. Also if the wire to the speakers in your ceiling is bare and touching any ground it would interfere. Start by checking connections by playing something and messing with wires. Listen for a difference. Next check by putting the wires that power those speakers in a known working output and listen for different quality

I can't hear anyone but they can hear me. Also, the ring on the phone never makes that burr noise to i never know if i have connected to the line Please help thanks

Your phone's Flex cable or speaker is bad. I would bet on the flex cable being the culprit. LG VX 8500/Chocolate has a BAD rep for it's flex cable being inferior. Very common problem for the VX 8500....they fixed that really fast with its replacement, the VX 8550.
