I have a starnge issue with my cell phone.
Red L.E.D. on the front stays on at all times. When you power down the phone it will not power back up on its own. You have to plug it into a charger to get the phone to power backup. I thought it might be a battery issue so I switch it with another known good battery. Same problem, LED stays on and You can not power back up while unplugged from charger.
About the only hope of repair I can see is to clean the charging/data connector with 99.9% rubbing alcohol and dry the phone out gently for a while with warm dry moving air, that might work if your very lucky. Best of luck!

try www.getjar.com find a application you want and get the quick download code.. then use your devices browser got to .getjar.com.and enter the code on the mobile site , this will down load it directly to the mobile device. if your device is not supported then select from generic j2me applications .
What they are telling you to do is, reprogram your phone, to do this they have given you the SPC code. Dial ##726100# and a menu should appear, the select edit, enter your ten digit wireless number, press ok, then enter it again and press ok, select save and or exit/reset to complete the process. Your phone should power cycle, thus after a restart the unit should no longer read [Service Required] on the other hand if that does not work for you please reply to this suggestion and request my email address and I will arrange with you to have your unit repaired as I repair Sanyo phones myself. Good luck!
Remove the battery and the plastic sheet on the screens (if still on them). Put phone in the oven turned to lowest setting (below 200 F. if possible). Let stay in oven for 8 hours and try the phone. This procedure fixed mine after it was in washing machine.
