My husband and i are trying but there is something we are not doing wright. regaurding the pump can you please help. If I call a repair man they will have to charge me. That why the repair man should me how to fix the problem please help
Thanks!!!!!
Remove the panel at the back and find the pump...it will be the unit that sits below a thick pipe which is attached to the drum. On the other side of the pump there is a smaller pipe attached (the drain hose) which leads to the outside. Remove the hoses (normally they only have clips) and remove the pump completely.
Once removed, it is easy to remove any blockages from the pump.
Some models have a "filter"....look on the side and back of the washer for a round plug about the size of a peanut butter jar...if there is one, open it and remove objects from inside....
Good luck!

Clogged pump stopped up drain. If the washer does not think all water was pumped out in 8 minutes then it shuts down. Slow drain is my first inclination.
Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.
00110001 CODE 49 COLD VALVE FAULTY
1 FILTER IN HOSE AT TAP END CLOGGED OR FILTER IN VAVE AT MACHINE END OF HOSE CHECK THESE FIRST .
2 SOLENOID OPEN CIRCUIT OR BECOMING OPEN CIRCUIT WHEN HOT.
3 CONTROLLER NOT SUPPLYING VOLTAGE TO SOLENOID.
TRY THINGS IN THIS ORDER AND GOOD LUCK
For those with water on floor after wash, check my post on "eco smart won't drain, smells hot". It could be something clogging drainage area at very bottom of the tub. I couldn't see the sock that was stuck in my FP's drain when I looked from the top between the white outer tub and the wash tub--everything looked fine. Then I removed the black motor/white plastic housing piece--Tip back washer and you should see this black electric motor/white housing on bottom. see my post for how to remove and check for plugged drain. it's really pretty easy.
don't know about outer tub holes, but glad i don't have that problem.
i hate my fisher paykel washer/dryer. i can't wait to sell this house--i will leave them here and get a new front load Duette for my next house!
Press "end of cycle" for 5 seconds or more to clear the screen.
