No bluetooth on my hp compaq presario cq60 313SA

It's possible that your laptop doesn't have Bluetooth. My HP G50 did not have it. I bought a USB Bluetooth device for about $10 and it works fine.

Go into your device manager, find the missing hardware, right-click, Properties. Hit the "Details" tab & in the Properties dropbox select "Hardware ID" & do a google search on it. If you want to share it here I can help, but this should help you find the right driver, if it still simply won't install then it might be bad. Just go buy you a usb wireless adapter.

Upon checking the specifications of this Compaq Presario CQ60-220, it appears that it doesn't have a Bluetooth chip built-in to it. That means that the computer is capable of Bluetooth technology but you need to have a USB Bluetooth Adapter (see image below).



To make sure if you have Bluetooth installed, open the Device Manager (click Start > type Device Manager) and look for Bluetooth. Some computer brands have a Bluetooth sticker at the bottom casing to indicate that the computer has a Blueooth device installed.

Try to reinstall the Bluetooth Driver and check if the Bluetooth will be enabled and also check if the Bluetooth is turned ON, if the same issue persists after reinstalling the Bluetooth Driver, then you can go for reintalling the OEM Operating System with all the Drivers to check if the issue is with the Bluetooth adapter.

First check with windows explorer if the devise is shown. If not check with devise manager if all usb ports are enabled (control panel-Hardware and sound-Device manager). Hope that helped!
