When I called them at 800-323-9519 they said that they do not sell nor have replacement parts for their products.

You can contact them and see if maybe their is another manufactor that does.

I had a problem with the non stick surface coming off as well. i callled rival to replace the skillet part itself and they dont offer replacement removeable pan. My suggestion..is to call Rival or buy a new skillet..Its a shame that the pan cannot be replaced..its a nice skillet and easy to use. The newer skillets do not have the digital control feature. I believe Rival should really go with this idea and make a skillet that is digital, and has a good quality non -stick pan. I love electric skillets and they use half the energy to cook food . Think about this..your stove is 220 and the skillet runs off 110 power. I dont understand how companies get away with selling items like this. Appliances today dont last as long and the cost has more than doubled. Why is someone not doing something about all the waste these items are becoming in our landfills. As we all know its all about money..Companies cant make money if their products last for more than 10 years and everything today is made out of crappy materials

I need a replacement pan for the S16RB-it's pealed off and now everything sticks. Help me now! I paid $59.99 plus 9.75% CA tax and this skillet is the worst I've ever dealt with. I need a new pan. ASAP!

You said pay $19.99 to talk to an expert? Why didn't you talk to him before you manufactured a piece of junk? I've decided to throw it out-it'll save me time and energy. Rival was a good product but I'll never purchase another item with their name on it. Thanks for nothing!

I have the Rival electric skillet [S16RB]. The center is approximately 1/8 inch higher in the middle of the pan which lets all the greace run from the food i am frying. The conter on which it is sitting on...

Seems they are all the same and that must be the design as mine does the same thing.

If your product is less than 1 yr old and you have your receipt, (you can fax, email or snail mail it ) they will send you another. Or if you dont they "might" ask you to cut the cord off and send it in, only to wait a couple of months for your replacement.

You can contact them at http://www.rivalproducts.com/help.aspx?helpNav=3 or 800-323-9515

S16RB Rival Electric Skillet

When you set the pan down onto the base you have to make sure it's seated right. There's a button on the base that is depressed by a nob on the pan. Sometimes the button gets stuck and the safety feature kicks in and it won't heat up. Hope it helps.
