I have a Velocity Micro Desktop, It has a 2.66 Core2Quad, ASUS P5N-E SLI ATX motherboard, 8 Gigs of RAM. I have tried loading many operating systems: 1. WinXP (32bit&64bit) 2.Windows 7 (32bit) Everytime my system gets to the Windows is starting up.... It locks up and will not allow me to proceed with the install. I have changed Opticals, HDD, Sata Connectors, CPU's and I even tried a clean install, by using Wired Devices and unplugging all uncessiacry compents that were not required to install a OS. I have been battling with this Sys. for quite some time now.. Please let me know If any of you have had experience with this problem or personal suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks, Justin B.

You can upgrade your motherboard's BIOS with the latest version (downloadable at: http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=KyHOsOKWujC2QguJ&content=download). This might help resolve the problem.
If not, then the problem you are having might be because of a bug in Windows 7, since it is not yet the final version.
If possible, you can test whether this is the case or not by backing up your system & installing Windows XP or Vista, and test to see if the problem will persist or not.

Windows 7 can use vista drivers.. Just bypass the driver not verified thingy or do a manual search of the drivers.

camlamm- I have tried several HDD's, like stated in the previous statement I cannot install ANY OS. I have check and cross checked all the connections from the PSU to MB
rjivaro- that is interesting that you say that, because I updated the BIOS to the latest version. My machine would still boot when I updated the BIOS but that might be because I already had a OS Installed at that time. I will try to downgrade the BIOS and see if that get me anywhere. Thanks for that post.
