Cold water pipe had become frozen. FYI this model of washer has a nice feature whereas you can test each component i.e. valves, by setting the timer and reading the LED's on the front panel. Instructions are in the schematic.

Hi...my washer goes through cycles and then stops at "light" . It won't go through rinse and spin. Help

Make sure your cold water tape is turned on and the screen in the water valve is not plugged up, it may be trying to fill with cold water and cant get any, try filling the washer with cold water on a "wash" cycle to confirm it it fills with "cold" then just the rince cycle ion the timer may be faulty and would need to be replaced

I have a GE Harmony Profile top load washer. It is stuck on filling during the rinse cycle. It usually stays at 18 minutes for about 15-20 minutes. I usually start adding buckets of water to get it going....

when washers go into rinse cycle they use cold water so the clothes don't rinkle,i would say that you have a bad water valve located on the washer, you can try to run the wash at the beginning just with cold water,if the water comes in slow you have a bad valve, you can then run it on just hot water and see if there's a difference in how fast it fills.the strange thing is that it should pop up with an error code after 6 or 8 minutes because the washer is filling to slow, have you seen any codes come up?if it is the valve the part number is WH13X10017 and that valve is under the top console

Ge # wbb4500e1ww stops during fill, wash, spin and rinse cycle intermitenly there is no regular pattern we can follow. We are lost as to what to do

Check your hose end. On your hoses there are screens at the end that goes on the washer, and that screen could be plug enough to intermitent.
