Open Question

Need input mA of a Crate TX30 guitar amp

I already know it has a 12 volt and 15 volt input, but i need the mA required so I can find an appropriate replacement for the power adapter

Their may be a schematic on the inside of the amp.I don't remember if Crate puts one or not. And I have had several Crate amps. never needed repair except for tube replacement. SOURCE: NO sound through the AMP even though the power light comes on

Not a fuse. First thing, to check your speaker (amp unplugged, of course), touch the + and - speaker connections to a 9V battery. If you don't hear a pop sound then your speaker is blown. Thus, no output sound. If speaker is OK, then the output IC is your problem.

Does my Casio g-200 keyboard have a fuse ? If so what type and where is it ?
I'd go exchange the power supply for the correct one (check the voltage, polarity and mA rating that's marked next to the power input). It may be too late, though.
There will be a fuse on the internal power input board, as well as one in the power supply, but if the instrument is turning on and lighting up, it's not a blown fuse.

Roland TD8 has no power
I would try another ac adapter. Plug in that one and stick it on your tounge and see if it bites. It should only be 9-12 volts, just to see if it works. It may have a fuse inside but I doubt it, if you have to replace the adapter, there is a diagram on the back below the plug showing polarity and specs. Voltage must be the same and mA must be as specified or higher. NOT lower except for checking for lights or signs of power. Normal usage would need its requirements or higher. Make sure the + and - are correct to avoid damage.

My P85 simply won't turn on. I have tried two different adaptors. Neither work yet they are functioning with other keys. Please help. I have a gig on Sunday
What adapters have you tried? The P85 REQUIRES a 12 VAC adapter, NOT the common DC type and it needs a 1.5 amp (1500 ma) type adapter. If you connected a DC adapter it will NOT do damage, the unit just won't work. You can find adpaters on Ebay or Google search.

I have a electro-harmonix , voice box , harmony machine and vocoder! I need to know what kind of power supply to use , as I have lost mine !
Takes a 9 volt DC 1 amp (1000 ma) center positive adapter. Not too common, search online and at Ebay.

The fuse blew, can't read what the ampage is
This doesn't compute as there is no fuse external to the unit and it runs off a 12 volt wall wart supply. The supply is 500ma or more. Any INTERNAL fuse would probably be rated at that or slightly higher like 650 ma or even 3/4 amp. If the internal fuse blew it was for a reason... using wrong adapter probably would do it... Other than that take it to a competent repair shop as the fuse will probably blow instantly again. This appears to take 12 to 20 volt 500 ma minimum wall adapter with CENTER positive, unlike many devices. If you put wrong polarity adapter that would probably blow the fuse and MAYBE another component.

Your adapter should be a 12 volt DC delivering 2 amps (2000 ma). If the adapter is too small, you will have the symptoms you are seeing. Make sure the polarity is correct. DO NOT use the so called "universal adapters".

Power cord get really hot.
If mixer is working properly, check the rating of the adapter versus what the unit requires. Some sites indicate this requires a 12 volt adapter rated at 1.2 amps.

The light is on but im not getting any sound
Check your power adapter. This unit REQUIRES a 9VAC (not DC) adapter !!!

People are getting these things and trying to use common 9 volt DC adapters like many pedals do, and they juust will not work with these that require AC input.

Sorry, since the mixer is powered by a "wall wart" adapter, it is UNLIKELY there are fuses in the unit.

If it is inoperative, then check the voltage of your power adapter. If you by chance connected a wrong adapter, try the correct one. It is possible damage was done in this case that is not so easily fixed as changing a fuse. The correct adapter looks to be a type AC14 which LOOKS to be a 15 volt DC, 500 ma, with negative on the pin.
