While upgrading my Noka N72 cell phone's firmware using usb cable software encounterd an error and got hanged and ever since my phone would not switch on.Any workaround while phone being switched off?

*+3+call button(green butten) by holding these buttons start your mobile

It seems that your firmware has got corrupted for some reason. You will have to get it reinstalled. HOW???
Fully charge the battery. Take a backup of the phone data. Connect through the USB cable only. Start Nokia Software Updater (if you do not have then you can download it through Nokia PCSUite), Follow the instructions and you will have a brand new phone. Restore the data to the phone.
If you feel this is too taxing then take the phone to the nearest Nokia Care and ask them to reinstall the firmware. They will not take more than half an hour. But may charge if the phone is not under warranty.

sir i am also using nokia n 72 !! it seems that there is some problem with your phone's firmware!! you should upgrade your phone's firmware!! it can be done at home using nokia pc suite and internet connection!!the firmware file is about 40 mb in size and you have to download it!! or go to nokia care !!they will take rs 200 from you and upgrade your phone's firmware!!
Upgrading at home is a little bit risky!!while upgrading if you accidentally sidconnect your phone, or there is a power cut off then your PHONE WILL BECOMES USELESS!!!

i think that there is a problem with your phones's firmware!! it hangs repeatedly !!!you must upgrade it!! go to nokia care and they will do it for you for rs 200!!!

your handset needs a software upgrade,
use nokia pc suite to upgrade it OR:
take it in to be flashed.

its the software problem of ur cell. jst go to care centre or the cell repairing center and ask for change the software version of ur cell

you can upgrade the firmware instead by downloading the "nokia software updater" from the nokia site given below it is free

first you must download that and then you can upgrade the firmware of your cell ...

NOTE: never disconnect or power off during the firmware update this will damage your cell phone completely and after that even if you visit the nokia also they cant help you with that , so while doing that do it carefully ..
