Hi there, Sounds like your product is in display mode so you will need to switch the product off for 10 seconds at the wall and switching it back on to reset it. Kind regards Carmen

Fisher & Paykel dishdrawers - no power at all to the top drawer

Try and do a power reset to the dishwasher. This means turn the mains power off to the dishwasher and back on again. If there is no mains socket under the kitchen bench then maybe do this from the mains contactor switch in the meter box. If there is no difference to the behaviour of the top drawer then the controller has most likely packed up. You can test things out by taking controller from bottom drawer and putting in top drawer. But this requires some experience with taking out the front covers of the drawers, taking out the connectors and putting back. If you mix the connector connections etc you can cause more damage. Take photos as you go along. Make sure the dishwasher is disconnected from mains power when you are working on it.

Heating Element

If lights are flashing on the control panel, the heating element might have burned out. The heating element heats the water up to operating temperature. After a set amount of time if the temperature isn't reached a light on the control panel might start flashing. The heating element can be checked for continuity with an Ohm meter.

F4 message on the top drawer, fisher paykel. I clean the filters and arm every week or two.

There 2 possibilities with this error:
1)
  • Fault with water fill (only on machines with level-controlled fill)
  • Note: Lights blinking, pump running and controls dead indicates an over fill fault
2)--4 Flashes--Draining failure. Drain pump, control board OWI or water indicator defect

God bless you

Top drawer does not work and bottom drawer flashes on and off

Hi,
I would need more information to assist you. Drawers run and act independent of each other, the only share to things, drain hose as they connect to each other under the sink, and the power board in which also detects water in base pan. If you have a digital display, what is currently displayed? You lower drawer flashes? What is it flashing F1? F1 is a flood in base pan, F2 is a bad motor. I would need some more detailed information to assist you. Also does you model have panel like wood? This would mean you don't have a digital display.
Please get back to me so I can help you

How to shut off dishwasher? F1 is flashing on control panel.

Hi now F1 mean that your machine has triggered the flood alarm. there are two reasons this happens-- 1st-- there is a leak on one or both of your drawers. they leak because you might have a hole in one of the hoses or your lid is not shutting properly etc. the 2nd reason is that some water or soap suds escaped from the overflow. now i would like you to turn the machine off at the wall and leave it off for a couple of days to dry it out. then turn it on and use the lower drawer for one cycle. if it does not go F1 then try the top drawer for one cycle and see how it goes. if it continues to flash F1 then reply back for further help. good luck.

Dishwasher stopped working. Suspect electronics issue.

An expert from another site says it's a faulty control panel and may need new actuators.
