My friend measure the voltage comming out of your microchip and in.also measure the voltage from pin 1 of the eeprom grounded with a pin from your power switch you should get 6volts dc if that is absent then change your microchip.if you get the 6volts change the flyback it is defected.also change your HOT it might read good but practically speaking it is leaky, however for safty reason you can also replace the microchip.good luck my buddy.

Check for blown fuse EP91. If the fuse is blown, check for a shorted IP01 regulator transistor in the deflection power supply. If that is shorted, change the IP04 photo coupler and leaky D05 a 12 volt zener in the OCP circuit of IP01. If this all looks good, look for an oily fluid on the printed circuit boards under the picture tubes. Good Luck

I bought a samsung DNiejr 2 yrs ago and recently it has started making a sharp whistling sound. How can i repair this myself

The most likely problem is with the Switch Mode Power suplly (SMPS) However it cannot be confirmed as you did not mention whether the tv screen is dark or having any raster (lighted up).
Do you get the green LED ' Power on' indicator lighted up or stays red only.
If it is green your problem is either with the Horizontal/vertical output stage.

So state more about the current status of your TV

Retrace green, relay on/off..when turn on the screen is green and after a few seconds it turns off by itself

Oh dear ! I fear my answer may not be what you want hear but my advise is free. Bright green raster with Flyback (retrace) lines may indicate a heater cathode short in the tube (crt) this causes a sharp increase in beam current and the power supply shuts down into standby mode. To prove the point isolate the red and green cathode pins on the tube base and cross couple the red video output stage to the green cathode pin and the green output to red cathode pin using wire links. If set now comes on with bright red raster the fault is in the green video output stage and not the tube. If still bright green then tube is most likely cause. Gently tapping the tube neck may prove the point, but take care the tube neck is thin glass and if hit too hard will break compounding your problems. WARNING if you do not feel totaly confident to attempt this level of repair there is no shame in seeking the advice of your local service technician. Safety first always

Crt monitor video chroma processing

first you check the signal cable continuty by multimeter then correct it if faulty .if ok then give -ve click at red cathode on crt base in on condition if red raster comes on screen then red cathode is ok same thing for green and blue cathode if green cathode do not shows green raster after -ve click then crt is faulty then give -ve click at R point at color raster ic which has heat sink if red color comes then ic is ok same thing for green and blue if ic is faulty then replace it if not then check bipolar capacitor if faulty then replace it

Help with kogi F9AH screen

Intermittently displays bright red/green/blue raster then shuts down with led flashing 2, 4 or 5 times
Amazingly this was due to the CRT being faulty !

Blank raster
Replace defective TDA6111Q for Red, Blue and green

Red or Green or Blue screen
Check and replace on crt module : D702, D703, D704 (all 1N4148) replace with type 1N4948T

Dead, led flashing red/green at first, then going to red standby
Replace C604 (1000uF, 16v) elec. cap. It is in the decoupling circuit for the 5 volt supply

Pic Bleeding

this sympton is characterized by the presence of red, cyan, green, magenta, blue or yellow colour in a supposedly plain white raster. proper colour reproduction cannot be expected if the raster is coloured. this symptom is caused by a poor white balance adjustment of by a trouble in the CRT, colour amplifier, color demodulation or colour output circuits. if the raster has a tint of red or cyan, check the R-Y output circuits and the first grid, second grid and cathode circuits of the red electron gun. but if you dont know anything about this, just bring it to a qualified service technician. good luck!

No raster, No sound

Your problem discription is not very detailed but certainly it sounds like the first place to look would be at the fuses if the set is completely dead. Good luck.
