TV has no picture but does have sound until all three lights start to flash and then the set turns off. Purchased a new lamp ($131.00) and that did not change anything? according to the book when the TIMER, LAMP, and STAND BY lights flash it is most likely a defective lamp. What else could be wrong? HELP!
Did you order an ORIGINAL REPLACEMENT LAMP? There's lots of guys out there claiming to sell original lamps but there really not the original. For Samsung TVs (The majority of them) use Philips branded lamps. Check and make sure you lamp is a Philips lamp.

you have the same problem I have. The problem is fixed by changing the new light bulb. The problem appears again after 1500 hours of use. You can keep buying new light bulbs or avoid it by not buying another Samsung TV.
