If you still have the songs on your computer you can format the player it will delete everything but you will be able to put your songs on with no problem. i had that same problem it was showing songs that i deleted from it and not playing songs that we're supposed to be there

Synced music files won't play on phone

You don't have a codec for that particular format. Try changing the music file to a different format, like MP3.
A program like "Any Audio Convertor" should do that for you in Windows. There are many free windows apps that convert formats of music files. Or do a search for an Audio convertor on the Google play store, there are plenty of free apps. Typically music apps won't display music files they cann't play, it just saves clutter on their play list.

Just bought an IRiver E150 8gb. Loaded my music on to it but the files are all disorganised, album artwork is missing, some songs play as unknown artists and despite having 163 albums in my collection,...

Yo Man it may just mean they are the wrong file type. Check what file types are compatible with the device and then convert them. The best way of converting a file type is FormatFactory. GOOD LUCK XD

Unable to play Albums downloaded from computer

Maybe the artists, (like my brother keeps saying) puts viruses on the songs so that when you put them on your computer it doesn't play.

Downloaded songs but won't play on go gear 3020/37 how do i fix

First try opening the gogear device and click on music right after the welcome screen. Select either "All Songs", "Artists" or "Albums" to find your songs. If you downloaded your songs, they should display on the screen of philips gogear, then you can select them to play on your headphones

Only some audio formats (.mp3 .wav and .wma will be play on philips gogear SA 3020/37)

Won't let me name songs

To put names on the tracks, artists, albums, etc. You must put the track on a media player. (Windows Media is what I use), go right click on the track and select "Edit". From there, you can name the track, and if you have the MP3 plugged into the computer, it should automatically change to what the computer as it saved as.

Phillips MP3 player 2GB

The album view, I believe, will only show "unknown artists" under the albums folder. You may have to go to the artists section to find the other albums.
