Beeping Noise My airconditioner (Amana ACD106R, 10,200 BTU) after three summers of use is beeping:-( It's a beep beep chirp every couple of minutes. It started today and does it whether off or on. It's already driving me crazy; does anyone know what is causing this/how do I fix it? Thanks in advance for anyone who can help!

Did you get an answer to this question? Our 2014 Equinox is "beeping" from under the hood after shutting it off. Also seems to have started only during COLD weather. No it doesn't have anything to do with steering or suspension components. It is an audible beep noise or chirp noise. Thanks in advance.
most hardwired smoke detectors have a built in battery, and when they wear out the smoke detector will "chirp" about every 10 minutes. You are best off getting a new one . they last up to 8 years, but do get dirty or greasy.
Hi!
The F1 code means that the Key Pad is defective, the book says that if pressing CANCEL for 10 seconds don't stop the beeping and resets, the Pad should be replaced. I have learned that if you unplug the unit from the wall outlet for a couple of minutes, most of the time the pad will reset by itself.
