Question about OKI MICROLINE 3320 Matrix Printer

Oki printer 3320 micromline

We have had a new server and since then the printer keeps jumping after 1st correct invoice therefore the data is in the wrong place. Could you help me reset. i have tried all the buttons but the printer still keeps defaulting to the original settings.

    I have the same problem as listed above , my paper is fanfold 216mm wide and 279mm high . I can set to correct position for the first page , thereafter it jumps position and starts printing lower down on the next page , seems like no matter what I try for settings the printer will pick up page 2 onwards as A4 .

I deal with these printers on a daily basis and this sounds to me like the cogs are damaged.

Have a look at that and see how far you get.

I have an error message on My Invoices & Estimates when trying to save an invoice data saving error: Save Entity exception. It wont let me save it or back out of it... What do i need to do to correct...


Per Avanquest: We have found out that this randomly happens due to an interruption in saving the data in MyInvoices and Estimates Deluxe version 10. We recommend that you do the following steps:
  1. Go to the Task Manager.
  2. On the Applications tab, click on MyInvoices and Estimates.
  3. Click on End Task.
  4. Relaunch MyInvoices and Estimates.
  5. Create a new invoice/estimate and save it.

If that fails to resolve the issue, you should also try the following:

  1. Close MyInvoices and Estimates.
  2. Restart your computer.
  3. Relaunch MyInvoices and Estimates.
Create a new invoice/estimate and save it.

Note: The task you need to end is MIED.exe
This worked for me without losing any data other than the invoice I was creating. Always make backups so if your data file is corrupted, you can easily restore it. Hope this helps.

The printer is used to print a Bill of Lading on a multipart form. It prints the entire BOL fine except for 1 field on the top/ right side that the invoice number prints in. It will print real small 1...


I would suspect the problem with the field at the top right of the page is being printed incorrectly because the printer receiving an escape command (control code) the printer either does not recognize or performs a wrong function on the 2280+.
If the printer was printing correctly and has suddenly started printing incorrectly it may be best to investigate what has changed ie have any of the following changed;
  • Printer driver or setup on the host computer system
  • Connectivity method
  • Printer settings may have been changed (check the emulation setting)

If the printer is a new setup and has not yet printed this document correctly it may be worth doing the follwing;

  1. If the printer is connected via the parallel interface (either directly to a computer system or via an external print server ) disable Cx-Bid
  2. If you know which driver or type of escape commands are used on the computer system ensure the emulation setting on the printer matches the host system.
  3. If you are not sure of the system setup perhaps try setting IBM for the emulation setting.
  4. If the above actions do not rectify the problem and you are able to select drivers etc on the host system ensure the 2280+ driver (or a compatible Epson or IBM driver is used ie either Epson LQ2550 or IBM ProPrinter XL24)
Further to this it may be nessesary to investigate the data file being recived by the pritner, by performing a hexdump to identify the cause of the problem and also identify a suitable soluion.

It sounds like your having a problem with your SQL server and may need to reload it. Backup your database first just to be safe.

Cant print continuosly in epson lq300+


Sounds as if the format is wrong. You must set the paper format in the PC wordprocessor or invoicing software to the same size as the actual paper size of the invoice.

HP 4280 - new black refilled cartridge not recognised


hi steve... the solution to your problem is a costly one. the printer keeps in memory 2 cartidges for colour and 2 for black, when a third is placed in the printer the first one is deleted out of memory same for the colouredand same for the black... therefore you need 3 cartridges each to do the trick.
eg. if you want to use colour cartridge #2 then 1st place colour nuber 1 or 3, then turn it on let it reads, then open door and place in colour number 3 or 1 let it read, then take out and place in coulur number 2 and it will see it as new
