Question about Coby MP-C883 MP3 Player
I had the same problem, but after connecting it to my pc, via usb and looking in my computer under removable storage to open up the files in the player and make sure they were there, the player starting to work again after removing from my pc, worth giving it a try, unless you save all the mp3's to your pc then do a factory reset, within the player menu.

i got my mp3 like on march and it was working well then it stoped working like it would turn on but it wouldnt play songs no more
I have the same issue. The player worked initially, now it doesn't. I installed a new battery (several, in fact), checked the files on the player by running them from the player to my PC, checked the ear plugs and tried resetting the unit by uninstalling/reinstalling the battery. Nothing. The red LED comes on when I turn on the player but no sound comes out.
