Question about Polaroid i832 Digital Camera
Press review/playback button. within few seconds lens will retract. then U can shut off. That means every time when U want to shut off, U have to return to review/playback mode from shooting mode. This is not an ideal solution but it surely helps.

The same thing happens to me. I have the same camera...I got mine in June 2006...and it does the exact same thing to me.... i found that this works. i wait a minute or 2 atleast...and try turning the camera back on. that usually works...but when it doesnt...i change the batteries...and just use those ones later.... its weird, because when this happens to me the batteries are FULLY CHARGED (like yours)... well hopes this helps!

thanks for the info....if i get the digital batteries it helps to stay on a little longer..
thanks! :)
Bought 2/2007 -New i832 - With fully charged batteries gives message -replace batteries- and indicator shows full, then 1/2, then no power left indicated. The camera then powers down. After this the camera will not power up until battery cover is opened then reclosed. The camera will again work for a short time, then do it again.
After getting approval for it, I sent it to Polaroid for ck, they didn't exchange Returned it-note that I should get fresh batteries. And it kept right on doing the same thing! Very annoying but need solution still. Good luck.
