The touch screen does not work

Hi i bought a samsung yp-k5 but i have lost the CD of it now i can't conncet it with Computer

Try resetting the unit by holding down the RESET hole at the back of the player.

First off, make sure the unit is not on hold. You can check that by looking at the side for the HOLD switch.

Next try to reset the player. Here's how you do it:
With the unit, get a paperclip and poke the reset hole at the back of the unit until the unit shuts off.

Try to turn on the unit and check if the buttons will be activated. If they'll work, format the player.

Next, what exactly happens when you try formatting the player using your PC?
You can try going to My Computer. There, you're going to see teh YP-K5. You DO NOT format that. Rather, double click on it. You're suppsoed to see a STORAGE folder. Right click on that directory and select FORMAT.

there is a bug in the software...try o contact the manufacturer and service it or replace it if its under the warranty period

What you probably need is a firmware update.
