The touch screen of my YP-k5 isn't working or responding properly. The screen itself does work, but everytime i touch the control buttons, no matter which i press, it rewinds my music, so i can listen to or change songs etc. It is a difficult problem to explain but i hope this is sufficient. I have tried reseting my MP3 player (via reset button) and charging my MP3 player, neither working. Thanks for your help.

First off, make sure the unit is not on hold. You can check that by looking at the side for the HOLD switch.
Next try to reset the player. Here's how you do it: With the unit, get a paperclip and poke the reset hole at the back of the unit until the unit shuts off.
Try to turn on the unit and check if the buttons will be activated. If they'll work, format the player.
Next, what exactly happens when you try formatting the player using your PC? You can try going to My Computer. There, you're going to see teh YP-K5. You DO NOT format that. Rather, double click on it. You're suppsoed to see a STORAGE folder. Right click on that directory and select FORMAT.
What you probably need is a firmware update. Many people seem to have this problem and it is fixed when you update the firmware from 1.03 (the one that comes with it) to 1.05
