PROBLEM WITH KEYPAD ON LENOVO 3000 C100 PC NOTEBOOK

HI HOPING SOMEONE CAN HELP ME, WE ARENT SURE WHATS HAPPENING WITH OUR LAPTOP, SOME KEYS ON THE KEYS ARE INTERMITANTLY WORKING. THE T Y AND TAB AND BACK SPACE KEYS WILL NOT WORK AND THEN OCCASIONALLY THEY DO, BUT YOU REALL HAVE TO PRESS DOWN HARD. I'TS STRANGE AS THEY STOPPED WORKING ONE AFTER THE OTHER OVER A FEW DAYS. ITS REALLY IRRITATING AND AT FIRST WE WONDERED IF A VIRUS BUT MCAFEE CAN;T FIND ONE.......HELP URGENTLY PLEASE. DEBBIE

    hi, i have a lenovo 3000 N200 laptop. Im finding that some keys are intermittently stop working. The following key refuse to work, t,y shift, tabs, and caps lock and its only these and alway together.

    my tiny dog got on keyboard now some of the parts have come off. HOW do I reattach? one little suction cups is even not glued on but i can still carefully type.

Laptop keyboards are extremely sensitive to debris. Before spending any $$ on solutions you should check to see that staples and crumbs have not lodged under the keys. Using a small screwdriver or butter knife you can gently pop the keys that are causing problems off (be very gentle, laptop keys usually have several parts so you dont want to loose or break the parts). Once you have a side pried up then you can use compressed air (or a good shaking motion) to make sure nothing is lodged under the keys.

The laptop keyboard will need to be replaced. Heat from the laptop will wear out the keyboard. It will get worst. You can go on the IBM website an find out if your laptop is under warranty. If so, you can call them and a certified technician will come out and replace within one or two days. 1) If your wireless adapter is Intel
