Canon Calculator; P28-D

Not quite this calculator, but visually similar... closest I could find online at this point of my 20 minute search for manual or such instructions. Short story - am finding that the printing is fading and wondered how do I change this? Is there ink? A part to change? What? This calculator was given to my church office about 7-10 years ago, and so no manual was given with it. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, there are a couple possibilities. First, Remove the cover where the paper feeds out, if there is a ribbon or an ink roller in there it will need replacing. This you can get a staples. The other possibility is, if there is no ribbon or ink roll, it is probably a thermal printer which means is uses a special heat sensitive paper. If this started when you changed the paper, this is most likely the problem. This you can also get at staples!

Innovera IVR-16010 One-Color Printing Calculator. Where can I download a users manual for it please?

It looks like it never came with a manual. The Manuals Online site where you only saw the front page is a scammy site and even the model number is incorrect. If the manual was available, this search query would find it.

https://www.google.com/search?q=innovera+ivr+16010+%22manual%22

Find a similar calculator by Sharp and use that one.

Or phone here and ask if it comes with a manual?

P170-DH calculator. Why is there an E on the display?

OVERFLOW FUNCTION
In the following cases, when "E" is displayed, a dotted line is printed, the keyboard is electronically locked, and further operation is impossible. Press CE/C to clear the overflow. The overflow occurs when:
1) The result or the memory content exceeds 12 digits to the left of the decimal point.
2) Dividing by "0".
3) The sequential operation speed is faster than the calculation processing speed. (Buffer Register Overflow).

! Electromagnetic interference or electrostatic discharge may cause the display to malfunction or the contents of the memory to be lost or altered. Should this occur, use the tip of a ball point pen (or similar sharp object) to press the [RESET] button at the back of the calculator. After resetting, be sureto set the calendar, clock, currency and tax rate again.

How to covert from polar to Rectangular

Let use an example to convert from polar to rectangular. There may be other ways to do it on this particular calculator, but this should work on all calculators.

Let's use 20 degrees and 5 units for our polar.

Sin 20 degrees = y/5, cross multiplying we get y = 5 sin 20 degrees.

Similarly, Cos 20 degrees = x/5. Cross multiplying we get x = 5 cos 20 degrees.

Thus, I get (1.71, 4.70) as the rectangular coordinates of the point.

Good luck.

HOW DO I CHANGE THE HOUR TO AM AND NOT PM????

I cannot find a manual for the MP49D, so am using that for a similar calculator.

With the calculator turned on, press the time/calendar button twice. Now press and hold the "time set" button for three seconds. The display should show hours and minutes with the first character blinking, followed by an A or a P. Key in the time (if necessary to change it) using the number buttons, and press the AM/PM button to select A or P. When done, press the "time set" button again, then press the On/Clear button to return to calculation mode.

Canon P23 -DH V calculator: How do I replace the ink cartridge? I've lost the manual. Thank you

I was able to find the manual for the Canon P23 DH V calculator on www.devicemanuals.com. I also saw a solution on your site to go to Canon and search for downloads. I tried that but was having trouble getting the actual download. Thank you for the service you offer.
