Last year a friend of mine bought the Quinny Speedi SX for my little newborn. As my child has grown (13 mo), she now wants to sit fully upright. I can not figure how to make the seat go up. I have seen the manual and how the backrest works but still it doesn't go FULLY upright.Do you suggest anything? TIA Evangelia from Greece
I got fed up of my little one getting annoyed because he wanted to sit up and the buggy wouldnt !! so i brought a luggage strap fixed it behind the seat around frame and cliped it together, seat goes upright, you can still vary the incline of the seat and take off when not needed! PROBLEM SOLVED! XX

Thank you so much for this post. I thought I was going mad and that I hadn't fixed the seat part onto the wheels properly as the seat wouldn't sit upright fully, I even took it back to the mothercare where it was purchased from and the assistant was of no help what so ever! I shall go and purchase a strap and use that as my 7 month old looks so uncomfortable when he's sat in the seat.
Thank you ;)))))) corrine

We (illegally and no doubt voiding the guarentee) unpicked the two bits sewn on the side of the pushchair to get the seat more vertical. This worked well, and I then put a few stitches in round where the black webbing feeds through, to ensure it doesn't put too much strain on the holes. Alternatively, get a long length of velcro, and use this from handle side to handle side, to pull the chair up straighter - fedding it through the originial loop (where the adjust is) to ensure it stays behind the back of the chair. B&Q now sells long strips of velcro. This won't void the guarentee, as it can be taken off.

how do u fold speedie quinny
I too cannot get my Speedi SX to sit fully upright. My 13m old daughter looks like she's laying down all the time! I have pulled the cord at the back as tight as it will go but it still looks like she's at 45 degrees! help?
I read the manual and the quinny speedi does not allow the child
to sit fully upright. I am glad that a note was posted on how to figure get around this little problem. Will have to try the velcro.
Question: How do you fold this quinny speedi!
