MAYTAG QUIET PLUS II DRYER IS SQUEAKING

Replace the rollers and/or the pads

Magyar quiet puls 2, does not heat, have to run 3 times to dry out. Is it usual?

The squeaking is coming from the rollers that the drum rides on. If you take the model number to a local appliance service store they will have the parts and be able to direct you on replacing them.

black on first screw/white on middle screw/red on third screw/green to the screw on case that says grnd.

I can't speak for which one is best, but I I can help you fix the no heat problem.

I am assuming it's electric heat. If it is, I bet the element has failed. If you know how to troubleshoot with a volt-ohm meter, I can walk you through the repair.

Let me know if you have the wiring diagram, or can find it on the appliance. Also let me know if you know how to read one.

if replacing the rollers didn't fix the squeak, you need to replace the teflon drum slides and drum gasket material. mine sqalled so much it would run you out of the room. now it's quiet.

i would oil or replace the drum rollers this is normally the culprit
